Football is one of the easiest games in the world to play. At its simplest it is just a matter of finding a bit of spare land and a vaguely spherical object. Many a mother could call a pair of scuffed school shoes as witness to the fact that most of us have, at some time, played with taped bundled of newspaper, golf balls, conkers, even a tin can.
